PST CLC company won a tender for the provision of logistics services for Philip Morris CR as. The selection process took place from June 2009. This is a continuation and expansion of cooperation, since the PST CLC has provided logistics services for the PM CR plant since 2007 as a logistics center in Jihlava. The winning company will provide comprehensive logistics services in the new logistics center Sedlec, located in close proximity to the factory Philip Morris CR as in Kutna Hora.
The offer of the winning companies includes a commitment to expand existing storage capacity of the logistics center on more than 100%. After completion of new buildings the whole logistic complex storage area will have 14 000 m2. "We create here a very effective organic connection of a warehouse in essentially the same object using the latest technologies and stock handling techniques. Bringing the logistics center near the manufacture we will increase the quality and the precision of the logistics chain of Philip Morris" said Mr. Miroslav Bradna, owner of PST CLC. Noticeable fact is the creation of at least 20 new jobs in a region where unemployment is at about 7%. "If everything goes according to plan, the new logistics center will launch operations in 1/10/2010" says Ing. Bradna.
