The company PST CLC, Inc. in cooperation with the transportation carrier ČSAD Uherské Hradiště are going to provide logistics services for Barum Continental LLC starting from 1st of January 2012. In the presence of the chairman of PST CLC Miroslav Bradna and the executive director of Barum Continental LLC Dalibor Kalina, there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the new Logistic Center Strančice, located southeast of the Czech capital in the area of Point Park Prague D1 on Wednesday 16th December 2011.
Products produced by Continental AG will be stored in the modern logistic centers in Strančice and Pohořelice. Both logistic centers meet the highest safety standards for storage of tires. Nowadays the installation of technology is being finished, so that the trial operations and inbound of goods can be started.
At the opening ceremony of LC Strančice, Dalibor Kalina, the executive director of Barum Continental LLC, said: "Although at the time of signing the contract on providing logistics services for our company in the Czech and Slovak Republics all seemed in quite tight deadlines, now we can say that we are ready to begin in advance.” Miroslav Bradna has appreciated the state of preparation and stated: “The successful start of this project is built on close cooperation between Barum Continental LLC, PST CLC and ČSAD Uherské Hradiště with all their suppliers and mutual trust between us from the beginning of the project.”
